Small 'airline' based in France that wants to operate a 13 seat prop between Nice and Bergamo (near Milan) twice a week for 500 euros one way or 900 euros return.
Presumably a remarkable coincidence that the company has been operating as an interline ticketing agent for 25 years for smaller carriers - similiar perhaps to the better known Hahn Air. Previously they issued everything on Heli Air Monaco ticketing stock. Seems that IATA has trashed their previous model after kicking Heli Air Monaco out of BSP and APG possibly have had to show they are a 'real airline' in their own right that actually operates flights in order to continue their existing business model. Remarkably it seems one cannot actually buy tickets direct from the airline website ! A cynic might say that APG are just going through the motions of being an airline but don't actually want any ordinary passengers. Other similiar companies Hahn Air and Flexflight at least make fares vaguely accessible to ordinary individuals, so they can show they are selling ticket for their flights but 500 euros for a one way seems to be priced very high.
Apart from operating a flight every now and then, what are the requirements to remain in good standing with IATA as an airline ? Does one need to actually carry passengers and is there a need to show a minimum number of tickets have been sold at published fares ?
