3 hrs 35min delay on BE3063 to La Rochelle from BHX.
I believe the E75SG-FBJA went tech when inspected early morning-substituted (eventually) by Dash G-JEDP
€250 compensation all round for this flight, and the delayed pax at La Rochelle.
Expensive day for Flybe

Dash G-JEDP due to arrive BHX from Belfast but then diverted to CVT (Coventry) before repositioning back to BHX to operate the La Rochelle flight.
Plot thickens-I've seen other Flybe (only) divert to CVT-anyone know the reasoning-certainly not weather.

Have you checked it wasn't a FR24 glitch? For example, they often erroneously show aircraft that have landed at LCY as having been diverted to SEN.

FR24 CVT diverts.

It is indeed a common problem on FR24 to show flights diverting to CVT from BHX.
Flybe flights especially get this treatment on a regular basis. I guess it is due to the ADS-B feed is lost on certain aircraft once they get below a certain height,or,before they get to a certain height in the climb.Flybe Dash8Qs and ERJs regularly show up as diverting to CVT.Possibly because CVT is relatively close to the final approach to BHX on rwy33,the FR24 computer or whatever it is guesses that because the feed is lost at this point it assumes the flight has landed at the nearest airfield which is CVT.

According to the CAA stats ABZ has grown by roughly 7 % each month but obviously no way of knowing who's planes are the fullest. EDI-LHR has grown by roughly 13% each month.

Seen a reply from a Tweet that BHX-LUX will be dropped completely after 28th October. MAN still under review apparently.

That would appear to be a good move, never saw the point of BHX/LUX. HAM ought to be a more robust route.

If it's Southend then I'm guessing Stobart. At least they got the routes covered and haven't cancelled them.
