Having just been quoted by Jet 2 just over £500 for two people to fly down and back to Palma in June in extra leg room seats, with one hold bag, I think they have away to go to be saturated ! I was a little staggered, so now looking at Easy which are over £200 cheaper on the same stipulations with better flight times.
But there does seem to be as you say, an abundant demand currently, though it will be interesting to see how the Pound devaluation v Euro and the Dollar has a bearing on bucket and spade flights going forward.

Regards
Mr Mac

Scheduled Flight Timetables | Manchester Airport

Search the destination, choose any date for the calendar, then click 'all flights' and search, all show up.

Right now Manchester has just one weekly winter quasi charter service to Canada and continues to struggle in winning any scheduled direct connections to India what so ever.
LAX,

Are we any closer to AI starting from MAN?

Saudi Arabian

Not sure I've seen this reported elsewhere...apologies if so.

Beginning 23 Jun the 5 x weekly Jeddah service is being supplemented by a 2 x weekly Riyadh. Both flights appear to be non stop in both directions - so essentially MAN is being upped to daily service, with destinations split.

01JUN17-28JUN17 MTWTFSS MANCHESTER /JEDDAH
24JUN .234.67 MAN JED 1100 1925 SV 124 789*C

01JUN17-28JUN17 MTWTFSS MANCHESTER /RIYADH
23JUN 1...5.. MAN RUH 1100 1925 SV 128 789*C

Good spot Cornets, the route is indeed bookable on the Saudi website also.

The middle eastern coverage at MAN is getting pretty big now.

That's Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Jeddah, Riyadh, Baghdad, Sulimanyah, Doha and Tel Aviv covered, with rumours Kuwait is next to the party with press bytes in Kuwait suggesting Manchester will be launched this year.

Could be bookable as early as Thursday but I had been told could be up to 20th Feb before they are online.

The fact they appear in the MAN timetable shows they have been loaded somewhere (timetable uses innovata software which takes info from bookable flights), so shouldn't be too long.

Presumably 5O (ASL France) and E4 (Enter Air) are operating the Greek IT services for the Summer 2017 timetable.

Do these replace what was the Small Planet Airlines operation during Summer 2016 (I seem to remember they had 2 x aircraft based operating to Greek, Spanish and Portuguese destinations)

Thanks you for such a comprehensive update of the new routes to be served this year - I'm sure that it's much appreciated by many on this thread.

Has the VY service to Las Palmas been confirmed ?

There still does not appear to be anything bookable direct on the airline's website.

I second that!

When listed like that, have we got enough stand capacity?!

The last "unconfirmed update" I saw for TCX Capetown, was once a fortnight-not twice a week.

I have heard also that the Thomas Cook MAN-CPT is (at least for the time being) a full charter rather than an openly-available scheduled service.
