Cruise charters to Athens, Rome and Venice are for Cunard and charters to Genoa are for P&O Cruises all using Titan, the fly cruise options are operating again for summer 2017 as in previous years but I thought that Titan were again operating them or maybe BA Cityflyer on some dates.
The Barbados winter flights by Thomson are as always in conjunction with P&O Cruises.

There are no fly cruise charters from Bournemouth at the moment for next year with Cunard ( just LHR & MAN ) and P&O are changing bases to Malta next year with again no flights at the moment being offered
Hays travel chartered BA city flyer earlier in the year to operate to Venice to pick up various ships but the loads were not as good as they had expected , Palma was however full and remains to be seen if they do the same again next summer bit like the old Bath Travel / Palmair style flights which were extremely popular and shows people were prepared to pay quite a premium to travel on those BA charters
Hays have also charted a Thomson 787 to fly to Barbados next March 17 which sold out within a month the rest of the fly cruise charters are operated on behalf of P&O
Hope this helps a bit

I work in the Port of Southampton and on behalf of Carnival I should have mentioned that P&O Cruises will be based out Malta instead of Genoa for summer 2017.
Thanks for the information as I was certain there were several regional flights planned for next year on behalf of P&O fly-cruises based in the Malta rather than just from LHR and MAN!

For some reason either the airport or the handling company just dont want aircraft. For my airline and we fly into BRS , I asked many times as to why BOH is not our No1 diversion. The answer, its too difficult to arrange stick with Exeter or SOU.

When an airports runs on min staffing, handling diversions can somewhat become a nightmare. We have all heard tales of folk being stuck on planes after diversion for multiple hours due to a lack of staff available to handle the flights and offload passengers. Airlines have to think that the welfare of their passengers is paramount (don't want to face legal action), thus they ignore unless absolutely necessary, the likes of Hurn.

TIGER1
Does anyone know what landed in BOH this evening at 21:00ish with the callsign TIGER1? Saw it on approach from my house and looked 737 size but impossible to tell in the dark. Its origin was Keflavik

Agree with Buster , gone are the days of mass diversions to Bournemouth where many aircraft were able to park almost anywhere on the ramp , buses from local coach companies were able to drive right up to the aircraft off load passengers and bags then depart to which ever airport they were going to
These days as we all no , things are so much more controlled and regulated , in the winter months at Bournemouth things are run on split shifts and limited staff , on some days there are only 2 departures so no staff around during the day when the flights have departed , only for the return flights along with immigration staff etc to see the arrival through
No airport is going to have staff sitting around just in case a diversion is needed so hence they are told go to BRS / SOU its the way it is now . They don't say no just to be bloody minded but mindful of no staff around to handle an aircraft in off peak times in the winter

Bournemouth handled just short of 69 , 000 passengers in October down again by 14 % but hopefully next month should see a reversal in numbers after the Flybe debacle
Again good loads all round with the usual sun spots of ALC , AGP and PMI doing very well with loads in the 90 % and the Canaries also high up
Interesting the 4 monthly report in the Consultive committee meeting had the following highlights
Ryanair achieving there budget passenger loads this summer and Thomson exceeding there passenger loads resulting in Naples being brought in for next summer and Dalaman now operated by a non based aircraft
Additional P & O cruise flights are planned and Krakow the new route showed early promising indications
New hangar opportunities were being negotiated and finally Air X are expecting a second A 340 at BOH for conversion into VIP Config and to be based here as well
Hopefully Ryanair will announce there summer 2017 schedule officially soon remains to be seen if they add new destinations

Tim Clark visits Bournemouth
Tim Clark, Emirates boss, was at Bournemouth Airport opening the new cabin interior factory at AIM Aviation.
I hope the airport took advantage of this visit by showing him the capabilities of the airport - it could definitely make a 3 or 4 flights a week A330 service to Dubai work.

''I really don't think so as it couldn't handle a fully loaded 747 or Concorde.''
Runway's big enough, terminal isn't.
Concorde operated out of Bournemouth several times on 'local' trips around the Bay of Biscay etc. 747's come and go regularly though admittedly largely ( I think)positioning flights. Not sure what max fully loaded range would be from Bournemouth though limiting factor is probably the ability to handle that many pax in one go
