Nah just curious as the last time I flew there with Highland Airways on the J31 there was crew that served a drink and Welsh cake so just wondering if Eastern do anything as the with the J41 being larger there has to be a cabin crew member onboard

I can confirm that Eastern Airways do operate the Cardiff - Anglesey route with a cabin crew member.
There will be plenty of space on the aircraft as it is capped at 19 despite it being a 29 seat aircraft.
Eastern Airways are the first operator of the service since Highland Airways to have a cabin crew on board.
To my knowledge flight is on sale until June at this stage.

Flybe report on BBC Wales about their 5 year plan for CWL.......
"The airline currently operates 18 routes out of the airport, including major hubs like Dublin, Paris and Berlin, which allows passengers to fly on to other locations.
When Ms Ourmieres-Widener took over as chief executive, she said the airline would have to change how it operates in order to reduce losses.
She will unveil a five-year business plan in the summer and said Cardiff Airport would be at the centre of it.
"We are looking at new opportunities with the airport," she said, including "charter opportunities, maybe for next winter or next summer."
I wonder what the plans are going to be ? Charter flights.....interesting move

It doesn't go unnoticed by many a forum member that on so many an occasion when there is a route development, actual or proposed, out of CWL all of a sudden you have a need to utilise, as if to publicise, the route.
Back in the day when a PAR route started you claimed to have needed to have utilised that, with the rumours of Cobalt operating to CWL you have kept on and on about your need to travel regularly to Cyprus, now all of a sudden you have a meeting in Holyhead, what are you, a fishmonger?
But your only, repeated, question regarding the Holyhead service is if they have a cabin attendant on board? You mean that you have a meeting in Holyhead but you will only take the plane rather than train if they have eye candy on board? ... Come on, get real!
If you knew anything about airliners then you would know that a 30(ish) seater cannot possibly operate without a cabin attendant but, as per usual, you are merely making such nonsensical posts because you feel a need to publicise route development and/or yourself.

Not that I have to answer to your comments but yes I used the ORY with Cityjet and now the CDG route at least 3 times a month with Flybe.
As for VLY, it was a general question as I've never used Eastern before and wanted to know what was offered as the train is a drag.
And yes again I do go to Cyprus at least 3-4 times a year so when an airline states they will be offering LCA then of course there will be interest, why shouldn't I use my local airport ?

But excellent news for CWL, must be the most high profile route news ever ? Goes to show that CWL really can compete with BRS. I don't wish to spark debate, but i'm sure the whole 'Mine is bigger than yours' debate played a large role in this.
Question is, is CWL QR's smallest airport ?

Read it, it reads "South West England" and last time I checked Rhoose isn't in South West England, indeed Rhoose isn't even in England!
The only suggestion that it may come to CWL is from a regular BRS enthusiastic poster who suggests that CWL may win this one based on APD or whatever, but with all due respect he's just an enthusiast and little more.

As someone who travels to Australia each year from London (and occasionally from Birmingham) via the Middle East I shall be looking with great interest at what is on offer.
The CWL senior management backed by its owners have done a brilliant piece of business with this.

Seems that so-called BRS enthusiast was correct so I'm not as surprised by today's news as some. Never judge a book by its cover.
It is excellent news for CWL and indeed for the West Country as well in terms of the opportunities it will provide for travellers. Not such good news for Bristol Airport though.
As someone who travels to Australia each year from London (and occasionally from Birmingham) via the Middle East I shall be looking with great interest at what is on offer.
