Angel LOURDES

Just wondering who provides the flights to lourdes throughout the season (April to Novemeber unlike the summer season).

Which airports do they depart from, times and what A/C do they use?

Asterus use a B737-700 on the MAN-LOURDES flight DEP 0705 arriving 1115 and DEP 1215 Arriving 1345(Rough times i know they are wrong).

Just wondering whether they will be flights from LBA with LS etc??

"Tangey Tours" are one of the main operators and over the past few years they have used (from PIK) Air Mediteranee,European Air Charter and Travel Service.

Yes - there will be flights to LDE from LBA ...tomorrow morning at 08:00!!
Aircraft positions back empty and goes around again in the afternoon.

There is a further rotation on Friday 4th - loaded both ways. All flights chartered by Tangney Tours on Jet2.

I think there will be further inbound sectors but these are with other airlines (Air Mediteranee? I think!)

Several operate from Exeter each year. Jet2 were the operator a couple of weeks ago. Many different airlines have operated over the years.

Jet2 and Titan are the main operators out of Stan and Teds, thro Tangney Tours. There is also uplift this year from Eire and Northern Ireland via Joe Walsh Tours. Air Med also do the odd back run, but I think the Euro is hurting them this year.

Normally 10.00 UTC departures and B737 + B757 equip.

Its always a challenge with the number of PRMs but the Handling Co, Cabin Crew and Wing Commander have it all sussed. I would say ship shape and Bristol fashion, but MG would choke on his RAF tea and biccies !

Indeed Pressman, but being a scheduled flight, RYR will only currently allow 4 PRMs to book.

Going through Tangney Tours or Joe Walsh Tours allows the groups who wish to visit Lourdes to book as many PRMs as possible.

My max so far has been 14 WCHR C..plus of course all the assorted
WCHR R,MEDS,BLIND and DEAF Pax. LDE airport is also well set up for these pax.

I don't think you'll find many of these pax would want to risk RYR and PAU ?

The biggest in the Market are Tangney Tours
flights planned this year are EXT X 4 ,MME X4, PIK X6, EDI X4, NCL X2,
DSA X 2, LPL X 2,MAN X 8,EMA X1,BOH X 2 STN X80 !
A lot are with JET 2 " using a mix of 757 +737 Air Med A321,and Titan ,using variations on their whole fleet,an occasional EAC as well.
Yes these are not easy flights with lots of PRMs but generally well organised, and very happy appreciative pax.
No LGW this year again ,I believe, mainly due to slot issues, and lack of availability of ad hoc flying.
LDE is a well equipped airport for the less able, but this year for some reason
is above saturation on about 3 days a week. All sorts of odd carriers and aircraft visiting. 747 Corsair 500+ pax, OS A330 ,MEA A321, and much much more, shame the airport there doesnt have a good website showing "mayflys"

The first place to try is your local priest. If he can't help then go to his boss as above.
