Will be surprising if PMI and REU are announced for winter. There will be too much capacity if they do, obviously at least on the PMI route as both baby and easyJet operate here over the winter months, as well as a reduced amount of charter flights. This combined with less demand during the winter season and the current climate would surely not make sense ?

Freight Figures

odogo2

All the info you need is on the airport's website.

On the home page click on "doing business with us", then "cargo" and then open the "the dedicated cargo website"

Total freight, including mail for Mar is showing 25,714 tonnes, an increase of 3.9% on 2008.

Thanks Balair,
These figures are quite impressive considering the current situation,I suppose the moving of the F1 teams to the far east may have helped

EMA Cargo

FYI on the freight stats, 261,000 only includes freight, i.e. not mail. 2008 saw around 295,000 tonnes of cargo (freight + mail).

Cargo Timetable

Oli,

I would have PM-ed you, but you don't accept them, so hopefully the Mods won't object if I direct you "publicly" to Airport Timetables UK.

"google" that and you will probably find what you are looking for, but I don't know if the data is yet available for S09

Balkan Holidays / Turkish Flights.

Stuart/Paul

Could you confirm how many flights a week there are to Bulgaria this summer?

Is there going to be a Freebird flight on a monday night or is this being operated by Saga?

And when does the Sun Express start on a sunday.

Thanks.

Otherewise the airport is Very Quiet nothing to report No Rumours.

2x Bourgas flights, operated by BH air, Thursdays and Sundays, and Varna on Saturdays.

Sun Express starts on 5th or 12th July

Koral Blue operates for Kiss flights starting on 1st July and now seems to be available throughout the winter as well! Which is operated using an A319

Monarch are now operating Dalaman and Sharm El Sheikh with a second Dalaman starting soon

VLM start operating Donegal in July as well, 12th?

There also seems to be a AEA flight on a Sunday now, 11.20 arrive, 12.20 departure, operating for TCX.

Ryanair start Reus and Palma in July, but loose Beauvais

bmi have a based A320/A321 from Middle of July - September, operating routes including Corfu, Dalaman, Fuerteventura, Palma, Ibiza, Tenerife, Lanzarote

Thomson have extra PMI flights on Fri/Sat evening throughout July, August and September

Seems to be about all the route news I can think of for the coming months

For the Winter, Hamburg Intl are back operating Banjul with an A319

FR Cutting INV

EMA - Inverness ends 15 July.

Another lost FR route to add to the ever growing list, somehow PMI and REU do not fully compensate for all the routes that have gone, including SNN, ORK, LDY, MAD, FUE, SCQ, POZ, BVA and possibly others.
