The new SNN-NCE service probably hit them at ORK.

They are probably getting some sort of financial support extended to make BRU work as they said the route couldn't stand alone after they tried various marketing supports.

EI DEJ trouble?

I see yesterday after a lengthy delay EI896 to FAN was cancelled and it meant the SNN-FAO rotations were cancelled also. Technical fault with EI DEJ? How did they accommodate passengers as the ORK-AGP rotation is now in the same senario!! Aer Lingus are letting down passengers here big time unless they have made provisions for all of them. If EI DEJ was in trouble why not get a replacement in to cover operations at ORK today being Malaga and Lanzarote rotations. Would be bad PR if it goes to press?

They have subbed in a 733 earlier today so expect that or an Airbus will come. It could easily be a crew issue considering the time of year as they should have a free aircraft of their own.

RYR S2015

Reus was dropped from the announced ORK Summer routes, but has since gone on sale at 3pw.

Number of Aer Lingus A320s at ORK

After seeing that EI-DEA positioned ORK to DUB yesterday so does that mean there are only 3 A320s based at Cork for the winter?

Any updates on the Cork-Dublin flights being reintroduced?

Was on one of the Aircoach night services recently to Dublin airport. They actually added a second bus at the departure time as the first bus was completely full.
Dunno why they don`t go directly to Dublin airport (at least the night/early morning buses) as only one person got off in Dublin city centre!

Anyone able to clear up the row around August flights with Ryanair?

Suggestions that they are pulling an aircraft in August with routes such as BGY/GRO/PSA only operating for 2 months.

Public figures say they operated in August last year however Ryanair say they didn't.

Apparently Bordeaux will be back in 2015.

Cork -3.5% for October. Bergamo and Pisa and Alicante certainly operated throughout August this year.

EI's new Sat pm flight to AGP (was the 8th Faro flight last year) will benefit if FR only serve AGP twice a week from the end of July (on Su & We).

Reus back on sale with Ryanair for Summer peak.

Looks as if 2015 will be another mediocre year at Cork as advanced timetables of the 3 scheduled carriers are showing no growth whatsoever in terms of new routes or any net increase in frequencies on existing routes.

TBH if EI keep going the way they are going, there will be next to no work ex Cork for the fourth A320 as it now gets an extra 4 w flights.

3 weekly SNN-FAO
2 weekly SNN-AGP
2 weekly DUB-MUC
2 weekly DUB-PMI

Think a third ATR is pretty certain but won't really make up for losses p[planned so far.

No sign of a 3rd ATR in Stobarts advanced timetable but it's still early days.

Also additional EI seat losses in April with AGP reduced from Daily to 4pw until May and the BCN/ALC routes not commencing before May.
