% business travel on major airlines compared to regional airlines

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to whether business travel is still mainly flown with the major airlines or if the massive growth in regional airlines and their networks has taken away some of the business travellers, and would appreciate it if anyone has any figures on the subject.
I would have thought that with the majors established business travel facilities that businessmen/women were still opting for the major airlines but would be interested to hear your views?

Thankyou

I think what is becoming more important, is convenience.
Much less hassle flying point to point.
Although I would say some travellers put up with hubbing it so as to keep frequent flyer cards and earn air-miles.
Maybe I am an exception being a life member of KLM so I dont need to use them to keep my status.
I used BA for many years but going through Heathrow regularly was not so nice.
Now, whenever possible. Jet2 from or to LBA. Ten quid for extra legroom seat which is better than KLM Euroselect. Fares cost peanuts and point to point flights with no missed connections .
Wonderful.
