I don't think it's been mentioned already but the Emb 190 (PP-XMA) will start it's trials at LCY on the 28th of this month.

Cityjet dumping routes

The original line-up of routes included Zurich, Geneva,Madrid,Belfast,Milan(never started). All gone now!,Geneva, about to be dumped.I wonder what future for London City Airport now that the striped suit clones are phone conferencing?
To be fair,WX are introducing a couple of new routes,(no market research,as usual),while reducing frequency on EDI and CDG.

Famous last words..

1."Air France have deep pockets"
2.The Titanic is unsinkable

I know that LCY does not have much overlap with LCCs, but is there really enough demand in a recession for a LCY-NTE route, given that Easyjet and Ryanair have both cancelled their own LGW-NTE and STN-NTE routes in the last 12 months ?

Id say very little demand, don't bank on it lasting long, cityjet are notoriously poor at picking routes.

* ryanair will stop STN/NTE end of the present week for official reason, as per local press relaese, cost in STN airport no comments !
* easyjet LGW/NTE of last summer was the ex GB Aw flight, it seems Nantes was not really in easyjet plans !

AIR SOUTHWEST -8 training date

First aircraft coming up on 31st mar around 0945 for crew training and refreshers as some of the crew were the first to fly into LCY when it first opened on the Brymon Dash-7s

Funny overhearing some of the comments like '''at least we don't have to eyeball it in and out any more or drag our cases through the mud when we get there!'' ;-)

Grrr

E190 PP-XMA is in for certification trials at City. It should be at City Saturday morning & possibly Sunday afternoon, returning to Luton when City is shut.
