There is a serious side to this - Does a van full of clothes look right in the Departure Lounge of an international airport?.
Ernest ask Manchester management they have a few retail outlets themselves.
As regard car parking, they have a little camera taking your regestration around Morrisons/McDonalds, it notes your regestration and if you are there too long......
The fines in the post
As regards the roads of Blackpool Dazbo use em every day, not lost a mirror yet
no, its not right, but its the sart of a new venture yet to be seen in this country ......... airside car boots. traders arrive from 6am (to make sure they find a space to park in no doubt)
You telling me MM MAN allows folks in a departure lounge to flog clothes out of a van.
RE Morrisons: That was my point, MM.

Reason: To lengthen quote - And title the post.
Nice! - Then we can have a coal wagon come winter. Or maybe in keeping with current BLK trends - Windmills.
Says a lot for what's happening at BLK when the highlight of the last few posts was the dada one liner that silverhawk for some reason thought was hilarious.

It was actually quite funny! Look them up, it'll make sense, all to do with supermarkets you see. Lidl (landing imminent, distance lost) Aldi (alternative landing direction inevitable)
So, the microbus is doing well in the terminal, it's all about 'alternative revenue streams' someone told me today. Don't you just love B.S!
enuf of this nonsense........
heard that airsouthwest are interested in linking the 2 bb airports of blk-ext....now that's interesting. would it work though?
Probably not. SOU doesn't work and EXT is even less appealing. If it was to happen it would probably have to follow on to JER. Also, ASW don't have flights to EXT as far as I know.
Obviously there will be some reduction when Loganair flights end this weekend, but a press release from Manx2 this week stated that their May/June paxfigures were up 32% compared to last year. Manx2 have increased weekday flights from 3 to 4 per day to make up for the loss of the Loganair flights.
A 34 extra seats won't make up for the 136 seats on Loganair but I can understand that Manx2 don't have the pulling power like the Flybe website.
I think Loganair have done a good thing for Manx2 and Blackpool - they have either created new traffic or brought in passengers from Manchester and Liverpool who have now realised that Blackpool is easier for them than the other two mentioned.
Good to seat a route that is doing well in the current climate.
we have a resident statishiaishian on this thread aka ernest lancs. are you 2 after putting him out of work or has he delegated whislt hes off on one of his holidays?!!!!
