I would also like to know when they will be starting the winter flight sales, as I would like to book the BLK-PRG for December.

I think that the TFS flights will be re-introduced from October with the 752 equipment, and maybe a greater frquency, as this past winter, BLK STUFFED LPL on the scheduled TFS route (LSvGSM) and GSM's flights were early!

Hope the routes will become available soon, and maybe a new route - GVA or Chambery?

MUFC_fan, you don't happen to have the pax figures for LS vs GSM on the Tenerife route by any chance? Just curious. Thanx.

possibly because the Jet2 service was direct and the GSM service went via STN on a smaller aircraft.

Still good to see it was a success ex BLK

Can't remember the exact numbers for GSM, but if you look on pg. 6 of this thread, you will see the BLK pax numbers.

What, more embarrassing than spelling embarrassing incorrectly?

Problem with fuel was down to Shell, the suppliers, interrupting deliveries whilst changing computer systems.

As always, a cunning plan kept the show on the road.

3 new BLK routes

FINALLY!

Looks like Coventry based carrier is proposing routes to BHD, ABZ and SOU from next month. All Monday to friday flights.

Came from a very reliable source, but still trying to find a published version. More info as it comes!

Could this mean connections such as IOM-BLK-ABZ, or has the Manx2-Jetstream Executive love relationship disappeared?

Prague/Amsterdam

Does anybody know , or have a rough idea when Prague or Amsterdam will be available to book for later this year, as both are only showing available till June 3rd. Was hoping to book for early december to prague, to visit one of the xmas markets. Just seems strange, its not available online to book, yet the local paper has adverts for xmas markets to prague from blackpool. thanks .... appologies for any spelling or grammar mistakes been at work all nite

Noticed that the TOM ALC flights have been operating with Boeing 757-200 equipment in the form of G-BYAB/D over the last few weeks.

Is this because of aircraft rotation, or because of demand. If it is the latter, then I think BLK is on a winner, daily 733 service to ALC, and still able to accept a 752 every week!

Are the AMS & PRG flights definately being canned after June 3rd? Somebody must have a firm answer. I guess this scuppers the chance of seing more city break destinations in the future, i.e CDG & FCO. Does anyone know the load factors for the AMS & PRG?

Regards

I certainly hope they will be back this winter, along with some other winter routes, and hopefully remain with 3 a/c.

I am pretty certain that the AMS/PRG flights will not be back this summer season, but I would be surprised if they did not return for the winter.

Now that Jet2 has aanounced the arrival of the Winter 07/08 timetable soon, what are we thinking for the routes?

I am presuming that:

AMS and PRG will return
ALC, FAOand AGP will remain as the three hotspots for the winter season.
TFS IS TO RETURN (despite what other people have been saying)
BFS may go to three times daily (by looking at the prices on the weekdays - they need it!)
New routes? GVA or CDG?

well as the prague flights been axed, does this mean amsterdam has suffered the same result, seeing as it not available to book after 3june? shame to see the loss of these destinations , but hopefully some more new ones, and hopefully a return for the winter for prague and amsterdam, as seaid on jet2 thread loads must have been ok for flights to carry on, lets hope so
