Does anyone know when the first of Aer Arann's new planes will be delivered? Will they replace existing planes or start new routes? Any ideas on new routes?

I've been using Aer Arann quite a lot recently from Dublin to sligo, but mainly at weekends. I flew back Monday 20th Nov last and there were only 7 passengers on the return flight to Dub. Just wondering, are the weekday loads normally this low? I believe this is a government subsidised route, but does this mean that in effect Aer Arann aren't too concerned about low loads during the week?
ps - if any of the flight crew are lurking - looked like a superb crosswind landing into Sligo Monday evening in what looked like rotten conditions!
I've heard a rumour today stating as the title says, Aer Arann are closing there Luton base. If this rumour is true that will be two bases closed in the space of six months following the previous closing to the Isle Of Man base. Does anyone know anymore about this?

Well the LTN-IOM does not seem to bookable after the 8 Jan 07 so this seems to be going. AA operate twice daily to WAT with a first 0715 dep ex LTN. Isn't this with a current based aircraft. This seems to continue into next summer.
Well if they are closing their Luton base, it would be rather difficult for them as they have no based aircraft or crew at Luton!
Not really. Galway flights are operated by a Galway based aircraft, as were Waterford flights until October, as a W pattern. Isle of Man flights could be operated on a W pattern from Dublin, while Newquay flights could be operated on a W pattern from Cork. Lorient is the only place where there would be a problem since they only fly once a week(usually Saturday), from all other airports.
Anyone in Ireland heard anything about Aer Arann starting HUY-DUB next summer. It has been rumoured so but is there any truth in the rumour or is it more wishful thinking than reality?
The DUB - HUY route, is still a rumour at this stage.
In relation to new WAT routes, It should be announced in the next week or two.
I have a strange notion that the new WAT based aircraft may assist with the launch of a WAT - DUB route, i read previously that there was an airline interested in setting up a WAT - DUB route, however it never mentioned a carrier. However, this is just my thoughts as an independent observer
From January the Waterford flights will once again operate the W service from Galway, gone is the morning and evening flights and replaced with a 11.00 and 19.00 flights from Waterford.
It is expected for an ATR to base at Waterford from May, the daily rotation will be WAT LTN WAT - WAT MAN WAT - WAT BHX WAT - WAT LTN WAT.
Lorient will be operated from Galway base with a change to Tue, Thu & Sun.
Waterford are expecting to announce a new Jet service by the end of the month.
Another example of Arann's long term commitment to the IOM. Get the route to yourself, drop it down to once a day at a rubbish time and then drop it completely.
Never yet managed to fly with them, the routes always canceled first.
In fairness to RE, they tried hard to make IOM work for them, for over a year they attempted to make something out of the island.
LPL was ditched after a fierce war with euromanx
MAN was ditched similarly, as euromanx won the war.
PIK didnt have demand.
LTN was'nt economical for them in the long run.
DUB is being maintained as it is a good route.
What RE attempted on the island was great, they tried to become the islands airline, however, stiff competition by euromanx and the manx peoples failure to use RE, has resulted in these decisions.
There in the business of making money, and if routes are'nt working, then why should they keep operating them.
