Flying a Bizjet and a Commercial B737 in Nigeria

Flying a Bizjet and a Commercial B737 in Nigeria
Can someone clarify if the B737 and the Cessna Citation Sovereign are in the same category of aircrafts in the Nigerian NCAA regulations and guidelines.
In short can a co-pilot flying the B737-300 for a commercial airline company in Nigeria also at the same time fly the citation sovereign for a government agency.
Is this acceptable by regulations.
Thanks because I'm really worried when I see these guys next to our hangar here in DNAA jumping in and out of their sovereign and the guys tell me they also fly the B737 for a popular airline based in kaduna.

Not sure what the NCARs say, but there are pilots at W3 that fly the HS125 and B737 concurrently. I saw that one of the guys you're referring to recently got upgraded to the LHS of the Sovereign, but I'm not sure how that affects his B737 job.
Even worse still, the guys in the last hangar (another government agency) use first officers that aren't type rated on the aircraft. They're supposed to sit in the RHS and handle the radios

That can not be legal...., or can it be? I love the rule of law! Was it ICAO that recently commended Naija? Dis is goot, abi!?! (Talking about the RHS R/T operators!)

Hey Geek, I understand having different types on your license.
Thing is what are the regs about operating both at the same time.
Can these guys legally get out of a B737 with 130 passengers and walk across to a Sovereign and operate and vice versa..... Just as Localiser said concurrently.
Are these two aircrafts under the same category with regards to the NCAR...
Localizer, it's becoming crazy here man, everyday I see all sorts just jumping in and out of these bizjets and you just hope they know what they are doing. Few days ago I met this young fella who strolled over to our aircraft and wanted a look inside, he said he was waiting to operate as a radio help on one of those flights. If these are the chaps they are upgrading well good luck to whoever they flying for...

A bizjet and a 737 are both commercial air transports in the same category.
A properly licenced pilot can operate either or both subject to having the appropriate type ratings.
There is not a problem.
Operating multiple types often happens in smaller operations as it gives flexibility in staffing.

I don't think you can operate for two different outfits even if they're using the same a/c. Now if the sovereign was fully private you might but I highly doubt it's not under and AOC

Why can a pilot not work for 2 operators so long as he/she obeys duty hours ?
No good reason why not, many pilots are independants who fly "on call" as required, usually to cover sickness, peak demand, etc.
