Impact of low oil price on oil and gas contracts.

The oil price is sliding with no end in sight, how does/will this affect the Companies who rely on the Oil and Gas sector for survival ?

The upside is that the airlines ferrying the public will make more profits and can afford to hire more.

But yeah, a lot of Oil and Gas contracting companies are having a really hard time.

All the offshore operators are cutting costs in some form or another, usually in staff numbers.
