Ferrying an N reg to Kenya
Hi all , can anybody help with some info please ?
Is it true that N reg aircraft are banned from Sudanese airspace ?
If , so , is it possible to route Egypt / Red Sea / Eritrea / Djibouti / Addis / Kenya ?
Thanks

@dc9, There are no airways that link Eritrea to Ethiopia, and there are Addis FIR Notams to that effect. I think it is due to the climate of hostility between the two Nations, that has prevailed for long periods.
Therefore the initial routing Kotakota had suggested would be more viable.

Without knowing the performance of the aircraft, it's hard for anyone to make a viable or accurate suggestion. Eritrea to Ethiopia via A451 and P751 is possible if the aircraft can manage the MSA and meet the RNAV requirements.
