Closures at JKIA ...

There lots in the media about an announcement that for the next year at least HKJK will be closed from midnight to dawn to allow for major runway works.

I'm sure the big boys we rescheduling around this but it's going to be hard on the odd balls who have late night timings. And a potential nightmare early morning when the 'gates' open up for the rush. Odd to think that the nation's capital won't have a 24 hour airport now.....

When is this due to start

Due to start in April 2015 and run in 3 annual phases until 2018.

Oh well , with the general downturn in tourism , could this be a good time ? But , until 2018 ? No productivity clauses then ? TIA .
