Pilot Algie Sanyang

This young man is on Facebook under the name above. A mate of mine posted his video of Algie's efforts to build himself an aeroplane.
He is in the Gambia and has a couple of videos on line which initially generate a smile. However, if you look into his timeline, you can see a history in his short life which I think demonstrates resourcefulness , drive and a determination to get in to aviation.
Anybody over that way interested in looking at him?

Imagine the support you would have, if you had him help you build a homebuilt? Good help and someone who would take take it with him

Where is this guy based? I think I read on some African charter operator's website that the managed to put together a scholarship for a young bloke and helped him to get his CPL, thus to climb the first rung of the ladder.

Spending money on people like this fella is probably the best and safest PR investment a company could possibly do. This kind of drive is become increasingly rare in our days. He deserve a chance, a BIG one!

Thumbs up

Well, we should not forget Zambia had its own Space Program and Cadet-Astronaut Courses some decades ago:

As well as Ugandas today:

Cheers
