Does any one know the typical hourly hire rates for the following aircraft:

Cessna 208b
Any Super King Air
Pilatus PC-6 Porter
or any aircraft with a Useful load of about 2000 - 8000kg

currency does not matter as i can convert.

Thanks

Can't see anyone turning you loose for a one off on something like that without their own crew up front or an insurance loading that will make your eyes water.

If it's for paradropping, most owners get a bit twitchy if you even mention it.

Solid Rust is correct: your chances of hiring any such aircraft in SA for 'hire and fly' are between slim and zero.

You would however, be able to charter - any of the charter companies will quote you based upon the distance of your mission rather than on the flying hours.

Good luck.
