AOC in Ethiopia

Guys.

Does anyone here know if you are required to operate under an Ethiopian AOC when flying in Ethiopia or if your national (Canadian in this instance) AOC is sufficient. I'm having difficulty contacting the ECAA and the website is down.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If you're operating internally or based there you'll probably require a local AOC, unless under UN auspices for an emergency or a UN project.

Even the UN charters are with local operators. Domestic services will require an AOC, ownership requirements fulfilled, and locally registered aircraft.
