Cactus, the difference is, they are looking for different jobs than you.Or at least I hope your not expecting a right hand jet job with a basic CPL and actually get paid for it.

No Sir,

I may be low on time, but I got no dreams about an instant jet job.
Trying to start on some turboprop or light multi right now. Thats more in my league

All I am curious about is the effectivness of these posts.

Wink Chasing the ilusive B1900 right seat

A long time back I asked a question on PPRUNE which ultimately lead me to my first job in Aviation flying Caravan’s in Tanzania .. So now its time to give PPUNE a spin again.

I’ve signed up for a B1900 course in Jo’burg and I have a few week to visit various operation who may have an opportunity for a new co-pilot some where in the world.

In a perfect world I’d like to go to Afghanistan to work but would be just as happy in Africa as I’ve been living in various bit of the continent now for years

Aside from NAC and Solenta which I plan to approach while there, can anyone maybe point me in the direction of anyone to contact following my rating who may be taking on 1900 crew , whom I may approach ??

Over 1000 TT and no strings, so happy to work anywhere for the experience

Thanks in advance

Try Balmoral, not sure where their offices is situated. They have 1900`s in Afghanistan. I know ET have a 1900 in East Timor, good luck!

Also, as a backup, what are the best operetators to appproach in middle and West Africa who possible operate ZS aircraft ? Thanks in advance
