Unhappy Baron down in DRC (Goma)

Just saw the crash of ZS-JXW a BE58 at Goma in the DRC. Dont know what caused the crash or who the pilot was. Looks like he ended up 15m short of RWY 36. Aircraft destoyed and the pilot taken to the hospital, the UN said he is pretty banged up.
Does anybody know who this guy is?

Sad News !

Knew the pilot a few months ago, had many beers in doga.

Great guy, hopefully a crew change since then.

Speedy recovery and all the best !

Devil

The pilot of the Baron crash here in Goma that died in Hospital the next day from his injuries was a 55yr old french chap. The A/C used to belong to a SA owner but was sold to a congo company. It is rumoured that the guy didint have any form of pilots licence what so ever...

You have got to be brave to fly a baron in the DRC but you have to be even braver if you are going to fly a baron in the DRC with no experience !!!

My thoughts go out to his family and all the families of all the A/C crashes in Congo this month !!!
