Tell us the rumour, and we can then try to confirm it for you.

Snoop Humour?

Must say your humour is killing me..

Here's the thing - if it is a rumour but it is left open-ended, then possibly someone whoe REALLY knows would respond.

If the story is told, then all the "Think they Knows..." are on the bandwagon. Anyway..

According to the Rumour: STAR Alliance requires layovers on International Flights to be minimum 5 days. Thus, SAA apparently need to start employing another 160 odd Crews.

Don't quote me - I'd also like to know if this could be true?

That rumour has been doing the rounds at SAA for a while as well. We hear it as Star require 2 full days off on a layover, the result will be the same.

Don't expect sudden changes in our crew staffing, our crew manager is leaving end of next month, and the powers-that-be have yet to advertise the post, never mind start training somebody to see into the crystal ball.

Yes, the light at the end of this tunnel is the 3:45 gautrain from Tswane!
