Sorry but disagree strongly on the transit point. MAN now has ANOTHER security check on ALL domestic travellers at the biometric gates to allow the SMALL volume of connecting passengers to avoid UK Border checks. EDI is a p2p operation, don't overcomplicate it even more for us run of the mill punters.
