Not that I ever lived/worked in Rhoose but rather than join the M4 at J33 if one takes the A48 and then the A48(M) thru Cardiff, because it knocks a few miles off the journey, before joining the M4 and then turning left up the A449 then A40 then M50 one can be halfway to a midlands international airport (BHX) before they've even crossed the Severn bridge (literally) and then they need to head due south before even arriving in south-west England!
