I was sat on a bench in Camden Town at around this time and I saw a BA 747 heading for Heathrow with the gear down early and it struck me as being a bit unusual. So there. You're not going nuts.
The other thing that I noticed was that the angle of attack appeared to be rather high. Can anyone shed some light on this?
