I keep hearing it quoted that a 777 engine pod is the same diameter as a 737 fuselage. As much as I'd like to believe it, after having seen one up close, and seeing a guy standing in it, I find it hard to believe!
The guy standing up nearly reached from top to bottom, so trying to picture the intake as the cross section of a 737 was a little hard to swallow....
What is the truth behind this 'fact'?
