Why is it that Canadians always complain about supporting Canadian companies, but don't say 'boo' about putting $10 billion into a foreign company like GM?
Well said! I too have a big problem with this.
Bombardier is too big to let it fail and the consequences of letting it fail would be a disaster to the Canadian economy.
Don't get me wrong I think Bombardier's management made a lot of mistakes when it comes to the C series and perhaps the governments should have a say on who get appointed to run the company but, let us not forget that one of the major problems with the C series that delayed the program was the engine failure.
Now that the aircraft's test program is nearly completed and if we believe in the company's numbers performance wise, which they claim are better, this aircraft could/should be a winner.
