In the aviation industry, we have had some serious underlying issues. These issues are likely to cause terminal problems if not properly dealt with by the regulator.
Since the Mission started, there have been numerous people who have come out of the woodwork.
These include:
The Mission left Cairns on the 8th October 2014 following a meeting with local member Mr. Warren Entsch, travelling via Townsville, Bundaberg and reaching Brisbane on 13th October, then Toowoomba, Glen Innes, Tamworth, Scone to Sydney on the 18th reaching Canberra in time to view Aviation House on the Sunday afternoon.
The Senate estimates were viewed on Monday evening and a submission made to Senators Heffernan, Fawcett and Sterle.
The estimates saw farqartson, aleck and others in a poor answering of questions put by the Senators.
By Tuesday, there was a meeting with a senior casa person and his assistant.
Further meetings were with people who are asking serious questions of how the industry is operating on Wednesday.
Thursday saw Wagga and Albury visited, with the mission being extended to Melbourne and on to Taralgon.
