The US are consistent in who they attack. The one common factor...they can't defend themselves (Grenada, Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq after 12 years sanctions). At least they learnt something from Vietnam.

They'll disappear from Iraq, and leave the Brits / UN to deal with the terrorists (we'd call them The Resistance, if they were on our side)
