AFAIK trying to force the company to employ existing NAS permanent crew in NAS Long-Haul on T's&C's any different from other contractors, is not on the NPF (Union)'s radar. It appears that they have given up on that battle even before it started, which, as it is on a different AOC (containing - for the moment 1 738) is probably prudent. There are other more pressing fish to fry, the decimation of the pensions, and how the company will propose to utilise the growing proportion of Contractors from Springtime onwards being the main two.

Existing NAS pilots are free to take a "leave of absence" for up to two years to "live the dream", & come back into "Core Norwegian" with no loss of seniority after this time, so far. . . very quiet.

The Norwegian CAA have just this week informed NAS that they will not accept the employment of Thai CC for the operation.

Inbetween this, & the aircrafts ongoing woes, I doubt they are as optimistic in the short term as they would wish the world to believe.
