As a newbie to the PPRuNe site I find it amazing that someone with an interest in aviation becomes mocked for letting other "spotters" know about incidents (no matter how small) and damn them for posting on the spectators balcony.
Don't worry, if you stay around you'll get used to Walter's posts, which are all in a similar vein.
