Actually there is no charge for the CAA run flight Examiner seminar. They hold one every year over 2 days at Gatwick and even provide the food. I try to go every year as they are informative and it gives you a chance to meet and exchange ideas with other examiners.
The next one is 22/23 October and the CAA have already stated that it meets the requirements as an Examiner Seminar.
