I have a few questions regarding aircraft leasing, its strictly out of curiosity at this stage but would love for all the pieces to come together oneday. The reason I am posting in the Canadian forum is because I would like to lease a seaplane.
I'm wondering if anyone can outline
- The rough costs involved for types listed below
- Insurance? Would I just have to take out insurance for its occupants
- Ordinary lengths of leases
- Who pays for maintenence
- Any thing else that would be significant
The aircraft will have to be amphibious and be either an IO550 C206, DHC2, Quest Kodiak or C208. I know these aircraft are vastly different but it gives me a bit of an idea of the grand scale of things.
