Back in the days of instructing at what was then BAE Systems Jerez I used to value lightly the fact that we worked Monday to Friday, 9 - 5 with a bit of flex either way as suited, stacked early on a Friday to the bar and had every public holiday off. All I wanted was an airline job on a jet and a Captains wage.
Now I've had those things for some years all I want is a little job in the sun buzzing around in a light aircraft, maybe teaching some bright young things how to fly, with every weekend off and a good nights sleep every night.
It's a funny old world.
