Plus unless its in private category then you need a NSOP (think 135 certificate) which takes months if not a year to get depending on which city it will be based, and you need permission from the DGCA and Civil Aviation dept for the import, this again can take 2 months, then you need parking permission at an airport...security manual, the list goes on. PLus you need engineers trained and contracted, and the biggest thing is if the aircraft hasnt got a Indian type certificate already issued then you will to apply for that first.
But unless you can get the 100 hrs PIC on type before it changes to VT registration then you cant fly it in India as a expat. But then read the all weather ops section of the CAR and you will find some more experience requirements regarding monsoon season etc
Lots of ground work for the Indian person to do before you can leave for India. There are a number of people who can help them do all this if they have no experience.
