Total UK national newspaper sales in May, 8.7 million approx.

Does that refer only to paper editions?
Internet readership of newspapers is hard to evaluate. If I spend 4 hours reading a newspaper on line from cover to cover it counts as one view. If I go into the site 20 times it counts a 20 views, so any figurs are subject to distortion and thus suspect.
As far as I know the only UK newspaper that charges for access to its site, and can thus claim 'sales' via internet is the Times.
