Just a wild guess here, but I do not think CX will be announcing any orders for Boeing aircraft at an airshow in FRANCE. However, I think there is a small order for 747-8Is out there awaiting announcement when the
PR is more positive.
I believe CX will operate the A350-1000 at some point. Why not give the airline that incremental size increase from the -900 for a small marginal increase in expense to acquire them.
Still think CX would have been better off with the 787-9/10, but they were so late to the party that those aircraft were not available. So we will eagerly await the A350 which has all of its delays ahead instead of behind it. Way to go CX!!!
