True its a pain to get to town

Take the village bus to CDG (7mins to Terminal 2F) then
3min walk to RER station.
RER line 2B takes you to Gare Du Nord in 30mins.

The village Roissy En France has a small Casino (shitty supermarket), a couple of very average restaurants and a very good boulangerie (bread shop)

It also has some great hotel bars!!

The Mellennium is excellent with lots of overnighting business travellers
The Mercure has a fab beer garden in the summer with plenty of aircrew/cabin crew and
The Novotel has late night parties in the 'crew room' with the girls from TAM airways

......I plead the 5th on how I know this stuff

Getting back from the city late at night is real schlep....be careful as taxi's are expensive and the trains dont run late at night

PS: Car rental is cheap & very easy from Terminal 2, so perhaps kiss Paris off completely?
Verdun is really cool & Reims is close by too.....my advice is get out of town and go on a champagne tasting or a battlefield tour (the battlefields of WW1 are just 1.5hrs away!)

Dont let CX spoil the party
