This is yet another reason why United are in very serious strife.
Thay fly to and from AUS, their running costs are extremely high and yet they still do it in $US as opposed to a similar operating expense to us but in $AUD (almost half!).
Add to this the fact that they secure offshore funds in $AUD whenever a ticket is purchsed in Oz and this does not bode well for them compared to the other way around.
If they dont change their operating tactics then I dont think CH11 will last for long.
