Just to clarify some things..First of all, Cabin Services Assistants were not hired just because of their pleasing personality.. It just so happened that most of them especially the later batch were hired in UAE and as we all know, in UAE they only hire Arabic people or those who are fluent in Arabic, so on this alone those other nationalities who aspire to be a Cabin Crew already don't stand a chance. Next thing, their assessment is exactly the same as that of a Cabin Crew. They have to go through different stages before making sure that they really made it. Also, there are already some CSAs who became CC, because the truth is actually, most CSAs earned a college degree and even have a very promising career background, such as being a licensed nurse or other medical background. As from my point of view, Emirates benefit from these people very well, since they are overqualified for the job position and job requirement..what more they are paid less! They also deserve being a CC, because what sets them apart from being a CC? it's just the SEP training which is just really a piece of cake to begin with! So don't judge CSAs just being a toilet cleaner..You'll never know they had more advantage and exceptional credentials than those other CC!
