Some things you have written is true but it doesn't work the way you have written it... You can bid for flights but only 3 per month... Swapping you can do but is hard with legalities around duties and days off...
Bidding for overnights, JQ don't really overnight, if they do most Jetstar crew will get them, not ALTARA as it's more expensive to send casuals away.
