6-12 months wait after you apply seem to be a pretty standard waiting time after you send your application, other cadet pilot schemes? Ever heard of BA?
I can't help with the interview dates.
If you e-mailed them a few days ago expect an answer in a few weeks if any at all, and that is with any airline not just CX.
