Air Nigeria long haul,
Air Nigeria plans to resume long haul operations this year has hit the rocks.
No one seems to be willing to lease either A340 or 330 to this Nigerian carrier, as Air France and others have backed out of the promise to provide aircraft for the airline,
Rumours has it that VS, either cos of self preservation or anger over it's relationship with the new owner of VK that has gone sour, put out the word and provided evidence of several defaults on the part of VK to meet it's various obligations.
This is not hard to believe as VK is currently down to less than half of it's fleet of aircrafts, due to maintenace issues and aircrafts out on C checks without returning, late salaries etc,
Some of these operators think they're pretty smart, not knowing that what goes round comes round like the case of Bellview metamorphousising to First Nation without taking care of it's obligations, and now having to park three A320's on the ramp for several months without flying, accumulating huge debts.
