It could all have been so different if the BASSA execs had actually engaged in the cost reduction scheme in the first place. Everyone would have been so much better off, CC, BA and of course passengers. Sadly they took their weapon of last resort out of the holster pretty well immediately. Perhaps the unions will learn something from this, i.e. "How not to run a dispute". They might also learn that distorting the truth and telling downright lies, does not advance their argument.
