My grandfarther was the senior Air Registration Board engineer and his signature released the aircraft to civil use. So knowing him I imagine it was engineered on the plus side of a slide rule and some. So I am not surprised it is still going strong, My only dealing with the HS748 was as a dispatcher for Gatwick Handling when Dan Air had a few. It was an intreresting site watching one start at night if you were behind the aircraft looking up the exhaust.
