Im just new to this site and had a few questions to ask about working for BA mixed fleet as I have an interview coming up shortly and am hopeful il get it
Firstly Ive been on a few forums an they have been very rather negative about mixed fleet especially involving the salary. For those who work for mixed fleet is it really as dreadful as a lot of people seem to make out? whats is a realistic salary to expect at the end of each month.
I live in glasgow and I know there are plenty of crew members from here who have to commute down to gatwick of their own expense and i was wondering how often you have to travel down each month and the expenses? just want to be prepared as my career move involves lowering my salary.
Also for mixed fleet crew...whats the job like? do you enjoy it,? how long are you away for each trip?
I know these questions sound as if im a bit reluctant, its just that ive been reading so many bad things about mixed fleet its sort of dampened my spirits
