I think the poster who used the word 'hub' originally was referring to the creation of one 'preferred' airport as Scotland's main gateway, rather than the strategic base of one airline.
Surely it is up to airlines to create hubs, not politicians?
Not when the airport operator asks for millions of pounds of public money for improvements, transport links, promotional spend etc.
