Have not been down your way but, would love to visit NZ and take the wife and daughters on some heli-tourist sightseeing, if we had friends there we would probably already have done it!

I don't think that its only your Aussie neighbours who are trying to steal away the Pavlova - here in the UK we're pretty fond of it also!

Wasn't aware that it was named after a Russian dancer (pictured) but this will only add to the flavour next time I eat one and which, after today, will (I think) be pretty soon!

Russian ballerina 'Anna Pavlova' after whom a rather tasty desert of apparently New Zealand origin has been 'thrown up' on PPRuNe this day!
