As a 300hr PPL (with MEP) 25 years ago I underwent the entire conversion onto a Be200 as part of a company safety up-skilling programme - over a week of ground school then 20 odd hours in the stim before a couple of hours of general handling and a flt test - I then logged 12.7 hours in the beast before the bean counters decided it was way too expensive...

From my addled memory - not at all hard to fly but inertia on short African gravel strips was interesting, recall engaging Beta just as the mains were about to touch down.

Good skills that man!

I did it at Lanseria with the lady instructor who sadly perished about 10 years ago. RIP.
